Gorgeous October Wedding On Nantucket

On a warm and sunny day in late October, we had the joy of celebrating Lauren and Ryan’s wedding at the stunning Nantucket Hotel & Resort in Nantucket, MA. This historic island hotel is not just a venue; it's a treasure trove of memories and grandeur, offering a warm, inviting atmosphere where every corner tells a story of past and present joys.

The Nantucket Hotel & Resort redefines island hospitality with its luxurious accommodations and iconic charm. It stands as a beacon of tradition and elegance, making it the perfect backdrop for such a momentous occasion.

The day’s beautiful moments were captured in photos by Rebecca Love and on video by Riley Fearon, whose lenses caught every smile and tear of joy.

Event Highlights

Cocktail Hour

After the ceremony, which was held at the Nantucket First Congregational Church just a short walk away, the cocktail hour was held on the hotel’s covered patio, with handcrafted cocktails and bite-sized apps for all of Lauren and Ryan's 120 guests to everyone to enjoy.

We set the mood with live acoustic versions of classic love songs by Van Morrison, John Mayer, Norah Jones, and others.

Dinner/Reception

The reception was held in the adjacent ballroom and was nothing short of magical. Things kicked off in style as Lauren and Ryan shared their first dance to "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac.

Then, Lauren and her dad danced to "Father and Daughter" by Paul Simon before Ryan and his mom enjoyed a dance to "You'll Be in My Heart" by Phil Collins. 

After some heartfelt toasts and dinner, it was time to turn it up and let loose! DJ Erika spun a mix of modern and classic pop and dance hits, along with some classic rock and a very special Taylor Swift request for Ryan. 

Towards the end of the night, we transitioned back into our Live Acoustic Duo for our ever-popular Acoustic Singalongs session, with high-energy acoustic versions of "Mr. Brightside" and "Piano Man," ensuring the night ended on a high note.

Finally, we asked all of the guests to exit the ballroom so Lauren and Ryan could enjoy a private last dance – a personal touch which we absolutely loved!

We played a slow and romantic acoustic version of "Dreams" by The Cranberries while the newlyweds swayed slowly and enjoyed a few moments alone together to cap off their special day.
